It started with one camera on a kitchen table in Toronto, a spreadsheet of national parks, and a quiet decision that neither of us was going back on Monday.
We'd both spent years inside office buildings — different cities, different companies, same fluorescent light. When we started MiscGyan, it wasn't a business plan. It was a travel page, the two of us, figuring out what looked honest in a frame. Alaska in September. A ferry to Vancouver Island. Olympic National Park in the rain. Somewhere between a hundred thousand miles and ninety thousand followers, it stopped being a side project. People started asking how we did it.
